Raytheon wins Saudi contract

The Saudi Arabia General Authority of Civil Aviation has awarded US-based Raytheon a contract for the installation of 21 air traffic management systems across the kingdom, the Saudi Gazette has reported. The new systems will extend air traffic control surveillance throughout the kingdom and enhance flight safety for the domestic airline sector. Raytheon will also establish a regional maintenance facility within the kingdom to support the systems.
