The project duration is two and a half years and covers work on the stage 2 substation. The client is the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Earlier this month, the commission issued packages for four more construction contracts at Jubail and Yanbu. The packages cover site preparation works in Jubail and Yanbu, and vary in value between SR200m and SR400m.
They will be awarded in July and August. Construction is expected to take two years (MEED 12:6:08).
In May, the commission awarded a SR527m housing contract to the local Redico to build two sets of housing units, comprising 412 residential units in total (MEED 5:5:08).
