Numbers rose by 4.3 per cent to 300,000
Hussein Dabbas, Chief executive officer, Royal Jordanian, says the number of passengers the carrier transported in August rose 4.3 per cent to 300,000, compared to 285,000 passengers in the same month of last year. The seat factor also increased last month by almost half a point, from 74.1 per cent to 73.7 per cent in the comparison period, while the number of flights increased from 3,265 in 2009 to 3,435 this August, marking a 5.2 per cent increase, Dabbas said.
