Biography: Salaheddin al-Bashir founded International Business Legal Associates in 1997. Al-Bashir was justice minister of Jordan from October 2003 to April 2005 and is currently the kingdom’s foreign minister, playing a major role in the Middle East peace process.
He was minister of industry and trade from October 2001 to July 2003. Al-Bashir studied at the University of Jordan, Amman, graduating with an LLB in 1987.
He graduated from Harvard University in the US in 1988 with an LLM in bankruptcy law, and from Canada’s McGill University in 1996, when he received his PhD in civil law. His practice areas include policy, trade, corporate, intellectual property rights, projects and information law.
The company has offices in Ramallah, in the West Bank, and Amman, Jordan. Aqaba Development Corporation and Greater Amman Municipality are clients.
