Jubail refinery closes unit due to technical glitch

The Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery Company (Sasref) has temporarily shut down a desulphurisation unit until the end of April due to technical glitch, according to trading sources.  

The 305,000 barrels a day (b/d) refinery, located at Jubail in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and the UK/Dutch Shell Group.
