Description: Hajr Electricity Production Companys Qurayyah IPP is a landmark greenfield project in the energy sector. Generating about 8 per cent of Saudi Arabias total electricity, it provides power at the lowest tariff without having an impact on the environment. It was developed on a build, own, operate basis and is the largest IPP combined-cycle gas-fired power plant in the world. Hajr says its aim is to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the highest possible standards of safety and quality. It also aims to operate the plant with maximum efficiency to add value to the global energy sector.
