Contractors to submit statements of qualification by 26 November
Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) has issued a request for qualification (RFQ) for a sewage treatment plant in Jeddah.
The phase two of the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport sewage treatment plant will have a treatment capacity of 500,000 cubic metres a day. The winning bidder will provide civil, mechanical and electrical works for the project.
The facility will be built in the northern part of Jeddah city near the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport and adjacent to the first sewage treatment plant at the site. The facility will serve residential areas around Palestine Street and north-central neighbourhoods in Jeddah city.
Contractors have until 26 November to respond to the RFQ.
