The scope of work includes site preparation earthworks, roads, parking and walkways, a storm drainage system, a sanitary system, drinking water and fire water systems, and electric power distribution.

The project duration is expected to last two years.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on 29 December with an expected bid deadline of 19 January 2009.

King Fahd Industrial Port is located at Yanbu, to the north of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast.
