Saudi Oger secures $400m construction contracts

Saudi Oger has won two construction contracts totalling SR1.5bn ($400m) for work in Saudi Arabia.

It has secured the contract to build an administration complex for the Ministry of Finance, to be located in the Nakheel area of the capital Riyadh. The contract is valued at SR914m.

The firm will also design and construct two aircraft hangers in Riyadh and Jeddah, in a second deal worth SR626m.

The client for both projects is the Ministry of Finance. Construction will begin within the month on both developments.

Saudi Oger has also confirmed it will be bidding for the Andalusia Towers, a mixed-use project in Jeddah. The project is estimated to be worth $560m. It includes two 60-floor towers, and covers 500,000 square metres. Kinan International Real Estate Development Company is the client.
