Work is expected to start on site in October and completion is expected at the end of 2010 or early 2011.
Thailand’s Powerline Gulf will continue to work on the first two zones of the project. The company was awarded the estimated AED1bn main construction package for Dubai Lagoon in late 2006.
The project comprises 51 residential buildings with a built-up area of 163,000 square metres. US-based Artec Architectural & Engineering Consultants prepared the masterplan (MEED 8:12:06).
