Sheikh Diab bin Zayed al-Nahyan, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (Adwea), will be awarded the MEED Arabian Energy and Water Industry Leadership Award.

The award will be presented to Sheikh Diab at MEED’s Arabian Power and Water Summit, which is being held on 29-31 March in Abu Dhabi.

“Sheikh Diab bin Zayed al-Nahyan is pleased to accept the honour and receive this high accolade which he considers an indication of the  success of the government of Abu Dhabi’s strategy in adopting the privatisation of the water and power sector as a strategic choice,” says an Adwea spokesperson.
