The Sky Oryx joint venture made up of Japan's Taisei Corporation and Turkey's TAV has been awarded an additional package worth $1bn at the New Doha International Airport project, MEED has reported. The contract is an extension to the joint venture's main terminal contract and includes an an extension to the main terminal building plus inbound baggage handling facilities. The completion date for the terminal has also been extended to July 2011.
