Algerian state-owned oil company Sonatrach has signed an agreement with South Korea’s GS Engineering & Construction that should end with the creation of a joint venture between the two firms.

The terms of the deal will include GS providing engineering services, carrying out studies, project management, construction supervision and auditing services on Algeria oil and gas installations and new projects.
