International joint venture will bid for large infrastructure and public building projects
Spain’s Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC) has formed a joint venture with the local Commodore Contracting Company to bid for construction projects in the UAE.
The joint venture will bid for work in transport infrastructure, services and public building projects, which range in value from $200m to $700m.
Earlier this year, FCC formed a joint venture with Qatar’s Petroserv to bid for projects as part of Qatar’s 2022 World Cup infrastructure programme.
