SSH Qatar, which is the local affiliate of Kuwait’s SSH, has been awarded a design contract for a shopping centre in Qatar.

The South Mall, which is being developed by the local E’Emar Development and Real Estate Investment, will be built in the Al-Wakrah area. Covering 50,000 square metres, the shopping centre will include a hypermarket, retail and dining units, and a sports club.

In May, MEED reported that SSH Qatar was awarded a design contract for a 61,000 sq m medical centre in Qatar. The clinic will have six interconnected buildings with a shared three-level basement and a ground floor with four upper levels.
