Standard Chartered has said it is to double the number of small and medium-sized enterprise customers in the UAE within three years as the economy improves, Reuters has reported. The lender, which currently has 17,000 customers in the country, plans to double this figure by end-2013, Subroto Som, the bank's global head of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) banking, told the news service.
