Omans ruler has been in Germany since 10 July
The ruler of Oman, Sultan Qaboos bin Said al-Said, has remained in Germany after having undertaken medical tests in early July, the sultanates royal court said in a released statement.
According to authorities, Sultan Qaboos, aged 73, arrived in Germany on 10 July and had undertaken medical tests. The royal court said that the sultan was in sound health and that he was spending annual leave in the west European country before he returned to Oman.
In November, Sultan Qaboos will mark 44 years as ruler of the GCC state.
