Taameer Jordan Holdings has unveiled a JD1.5bn ($2.12bn) project to redevelop the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and build a new tourist resort on the site.

The new development is to be built in Al-Yamaniah and will be called Mansion Hills.

Built across 3 million square metres, the site will include residential compounds, hotels, shops and theme parks and a range of other leisure facilities.
