Company is focusing on its home market
Tarek Tantawy, chief executive of Telecom Egypt, has said it plans to focus on growth in Egypt and has no interest in acquiring a stake in Zain Saudi, Reuters has reported. “All of our focus in the coming period is for our home market, to become a total communications provider and increase broadband penetration,” Tantawy told the news service. “We see a future in broadband in our home market.”
