Tenders for university science park due by end of year

28 May 2008
Tenders for a new educational facility at King Saud University in Riyadh are to be issued at the end of 2008.

The new site is a 1.3-square-kilometre science park for the university, which will be developed by the local Saudi Real Estate Company, also known as Al-Akaria.

The Singapore-based Jurong International is involved with the preliminary design work of the project and is about to commence detailed design on the project.

The client is King Saud University, the kingdom’s oldest university.

Jurong is also the master developer for Sudair Industrial city, located north of Riyadh in the Nejd region. (MEED 15:2:08).
