Thani Dubai Mining explores gold in Yemen

UAE-based Thani Dubai Mining, which started exploring for gold in Yemen last year, has dug over 80 wells in 15 sites in Madan Valley collected over 8,718 rock samples from mineralised zones, and started preparation for the preliminary assessment of the ore, Saba news agency has reported. According to a report by the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Board (GSMRB) of Yemen, the company carried out drilling of 15 sites in Notisha area and gathered about 7,952 samples from the mineralised zones. Thani also started explorations in al-Maslama area, where it found a number of mineralised zones, the report said.
