Dubai tower Burj 2020 will be worlds tallest commercial building
The Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre (DMCC) has appointed US-based Turner Construction International as the project manager for its Burj 2020 tower project in the Jumeirah Lake Towers area.
The tower is planned as the world tallest commercial tower. It will be a steel frame building meaning that it can be built more quickly than a traditional concrete structure.
DMCC named the tower Burj 2020 in December 2013, following Dubais Expo 2020 win.
The tower will be the centrepiece of a new Burj 2020 district that aims to create an efficient and vibrant world-class urban business destination, will also include transport and traffic flow solutions to create a swift journey to and from the area.
