The UAE health ministry is working on a number of procedures and initiatives that ensure medical and health practices obtain international health accreditation, Wam has reported. Last year, the ministry signed a contract with a US-based accreditation institution to review and evaluate the services of the ministry's healthcare facilities as part of its strategy to develop the health services and raise the performance standards of its employees in all the hospitals and centres.
