UAE open sky policy boosts competitiveness of economy

Sultan Al Mansouri, the chairman of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed an air transport agreement with Comoro Islands, and said the open sky policy adopted by the UAE has contributed to boosting the economic status of the country as a strategic business hub, Wam has reported. Air transport deals signed so far by the UAE with different countries have reached 146, of which 104 of them are the open sky agreements, Al Mansouri, who is also the country's finance minister, said.
