The UAE Ministry of Health has decided to recall all products that contain sibutramine substance according to the recommendations of the US Drug and Food Administration and European Association for Medicine and the request of the manufacturing company and agent in the UAE, WAM has reported. A Health Ministry official stated that sibutramine substance has been recalled from the markets immediately after the announcement of its clinical results that may cause heart attacks and cardiac arrests.
