Chelsea Group, a member of UK-based Crimson Hotels, has announced the opening of a new four-star hotel in Al Barsha behind Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, Gulf News has reported. The group also plans to build a 750-room hotel near Al Maktoum Airport in Jebel Ali, Shiraz Kassam, managing director and CEO of the Chelsea Group told the newspaper. 'We have already acquired the land and will invest Dhs500m in the new property," he told the daily. Construction is set to begin as soon as the new airport becomes operational, he said.
