Saudi Arabia’s UN delegation said it plans to submit a draft resolution to the General Assembly that condemns the alleged plot to assassinate its US envoy in mid-October.

The draft resolution asks the assembly to say that it “deplores the plot to assassinate the ambassador of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the US”.

Abdulmohsen Alyas, the Saudi UN mission’s spokesman said his delegation would submit the draft resolution on 16 November with the hope of having a vote on it on 18 November.
