The Bank Aljazira regional management office has been designed as a new landmark for the Saudi capital

US-based Hill International has been awarded the project management of an office building for local Bank Aljazira in Riyadh.

The three-year contract involves the project management of pre-design, design, and construction of the Jeddah-based bank’s regional management office building in the Saudi capital.

The building has been designed to become one of Riyadh’s landmarks and will be built in the north of the city.

Work has started on other building projects for the financial sector over the past year. In December 2017, the local El-Seif Engineering Contracting was awarded the estimated SR675m ($180m) contract to build a new headquarters building for Saudi lender Sabb in Riyadh. The 30-storey tower is being built on King Fahd Road in the Al-Sahafa area.

More recently, construction works on the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh resumed.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), plans to complete the project, which includes  34 towers, by October 2020.
