While Abu Dhabi's heavyweights end even, the market gauge advances in thin trading

The ADX General Index closed 0.75% higher at 2,587.67 points Sunday. Etisalat, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Dana Gas and Sorouh Real Esatet closed unchanged. The sheikhdom's first developer Aldar Properties surged 2.29%, while its rival Eshraq Properties advanced 2.63%. Trading volumes declined again as investors showed some form of exhaustion at the end of the first quarter 2012. Around 43m shares were traded, valued at Dhs90m.
