Reports by the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal say that Yahoo may announce a new round of layoffs next week, the third one since early 2008 and the first staff-trimming under new CEO Carol Bartz. The round of layoffs could affect several hundred employees, when Yahoo is scheduled to report its first-quarter financial results, the newspapers reported, quoting anonymous sources.
