Well pad facilities and flowlines deal tendered

State-owned China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) has invited firms to bid for a contract to build new well pad facilities and flowlines at the Missan oil fields in the east of Iraq.

CNOOC has set a 31 October closing date for proposals. Documents are available until 13 October, with the payment of $100.

The Chinese firm has also issued a separate tender for the preparation of 50 workover well pads with the same deadline.

CNOOC is the operator of the Missan oil fields, which include the Abu Ghraib, Buzurgan and Faqqa fields. The company issued a tender in June for the construction of 25 well pads, across the three fields.
