DP World has secured the deal to operate and develop the container handling facilities in the port of Aden. The Yemen Gulf of Aden Port Corporation have agreed to DP World for the lease of Aden Container Terminal and Ma'alla Container Terminal, and a joint venture will see a $220m investment in the port, including building a new 400 metre berth extension to Aden Container Terminal.
