

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s offshore unit (Adnoc Offshore) has extended the deadline for submission of bids for the Das Island facility integration project for the second time, to 5 August.
Bids for the main contract of the project were supposed to have been submitted on 29 July, but has been postponed owing to another extension request from bidders, according to a source.
MEED has previously reported that the value of the contract is estimated to be $30m.
The scope of work on this project includes providing:
- Replacement of the process piping header, spanning 1.5 kilometres
- Temporary piping
- Structural element replacement
- Pipe rack replacement
- Associated facilities.
The pre-qualification process for the main contract is understood to have taken place last year. The prospective bidders include:
- Target Engineering (UAE)
- Al-Asab (UAE)
- consortium of Chiyoda CCC Engineering Limited (UAE) / Consolidated Contractors Company (Lebanon)
- MBTC (Kuwait)
- Adyard (UAE)
- Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock Middle East (UAE)
- Fortune Engineering (UAE).
