Overview
Saudi Acrylic Monomer Company is building an acrylic complex in Jubail, to cope with a growing demand for acrylic acid and butyl acrylate. The complex will have a 145,000 tonnes a year (t/y) acrylic acid production unit and a 160,000 t/y butyl acrylate plant.
The acrylic acid plant will be fed by 110,000 t/y of propylene from Tasnee’s existing petrochemicals cracker at Jubail.
