Abdol Hagh joins consultancy in newly created role

Kuwait’s KEO International Consultants has appointed Abdol Hagh as its first ever chief operating officer.

KEO says the new position been created to significantly affect and increase the managerial and technical strengths of the firm.

Hagh will be fully responsible for leading the design-related business in KEO, which includes the delivery of all architectural, engineering, planning and landscape architecture services. As the new chief operating officer, he will also help set the direction for the firm and as part of their executive leadership board that runs the business from policy-setting to strategic planning and decision-making on all operations.

He will report to KEO president and CEO Donna Sultan.

Hagh has 35 years of industry experience. Prior to joining KEO, he spent eight years with the US’ Aecom. His last position at Aecom was senior vice-president, North America buildings engineering.

Prior to that Hagh was their senior vice-president for specialty projects and was involved in the Riyadh metro project.

KEO recently secured work on Kuwait’s Sabah al-Salem University City project at Shadadiyah with US-based HOK. KEO is the architect of record and will provide construction supervision services for two colleges.
