Companies asked to submit bids for project by 10 March
Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has postponed the bid deadline for the replacement of a gas transport pipeline at its Burgan oil field, according to the country’s Central Tenders Committee.
The deadline has been extended to 10 March from 24 February for bids on the estimated $28m engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract.
The contract, which was tendered in December, covers the construction of a 40-inch diameter transport pipeline linking gas condensation manholes at the Burgan oil field to the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant – both located in southwest Kuwait.
KOC has prequalified 21 local and international firms to bid for the deal.
