The contract covers the provision of a new grassroots booster station, named booster station 132 (BS-132), with a single 250 million cubic feet a day (cf/d) gas train including high and low pressure compressors, each with a separate gas turbine driver, and a gas dehydration unit.
Booster station 132 will work in tandem with the existing booster station 131 (BS-131), drawing gas from gathering centres 15, 23, 25, and 24. The station will receive the gas at 10 pound-force per square inch gauge (psig) and discharge it at about 925 psig.
The contract also covers the enhancement of booster station 131, which involves the installation of new low pressure and high pressure separators and flaring systems.
Further work covered by the contract includes the construction of vapour compressor units at the existing gathering centres 15, 23, and 25, and 14 new 8-inch and 48-inch pipelines to connect the gathering centres with the booster station.
