The local Beaver Gulf has been awarded a contract for construction work at the Deira Waterfront in Dubai.
The main construction contract covers work on plots 5, 7 and 8 as part of phase 1 of the project that is being developed by Deira Waterfront Development, which is an affiliate of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD).
The overall scheme involves developing 5 kilometres of waterfront along the Deira corniche facing Nakheel’s offshore Deira Islands project.
The components of the project include hotels, retail space, and food and beverage outlets.
There will also be civic components such as plazas, parks, bicycle routes and transportation hubs.
The local Alec was awarded a contract for the construction of a hotel and office building at Deira Waterfront in April this year.
