Biography: Mohammad Menwer al-Mutairi founded the Consultative Group in 2001, which is a full service Kuwaiti law firm. 

Prior to private practice, Mohammad was as a public prosecutor before being called to the judiciary as a judge at various courts in Kuwait. He was previously a legal adviser to the deputy prime minister and minister of state for cabinet affairs and minister of state for national assembly and is a registered arbitrator with the Judicial Arbitration Department, Ministry of Justice, a certified local and international arbitrator with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait and a member of the GCC Arbitration Centre, Manama, Bahrain. 

Mohammad has advised on energy, infrastructure and construction deals across the Gulf. He is currently advising the Kuwaiti government on the construction of a medical city in the state of Kuwait. Mohammad has also advised several international corporate clients, mobile operators, banks and major financial institutions in the region, including the Kuwait Investment Authority and the Public Institution for Social Security on projects valued at several hundred million dollars.    

Mohammad is studying for a PhD at Leeds University, UK, and shares his time between his practice in Kuwait and England.
