Companies to combine capabilities to deliver Iraqi oil and gas projects
The UKs Mott MacDonald has formed a partnership with Erbil-based Khudairi Group to combine capabilities on oil and gas projects in Iraq.
The agreement combines Mott MacDonalds engineering and procurement support services with the Iraqi groups procurement, inspection, expediting and construction management capabilities, according to an announcement by the British company.
Mott Macdonald has delivered 1,000 projects in Iraq in the last six years, including the restoration of water and power supplies. The company also worked on the conversion of the Erbil power plant to combined cycle and supported increased production on the Rumaila field.
Khudairi is a local family owned company employing 250 people in the fields of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), oil field supply and services, and heavy machinery.
