Sovereign Hospitality to develop hotels in Ethiopia

Sovereign Hospitality Holdings, a tourism and real estate investment company owned by the Kuwait-based Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons Company, is to establish two hotels in Ethiopia.

The company will invest more than $35m in the project. Both hotels are due to open in 2010.

The two hotels will be built in the capital Addis Ababa, and will be operated by Accor Afrique.

The two resorts will be the 118-room Novotel Hotel and the 154-room Ibis Hotel.
