Biography: Nasser has 30 years’ experience with Saudi Aramco, having joined the company as a graduate engineer in 1982. In his first 10 years at the firm, he worked on several assignments within the production engineering, drilling and reservoir management departments.
In 1991, he became a supervisor in the engineering and production department. In 1997, Nasser became manager of the Ras Tanura producing department, before managing the Northern Area, Safaniya Offshore and Safaniya Onshore producing departments.
In 2004, he was appointed chief petroleum engineer before being made executive director of petroleum engineering and development in 2005. Nasser assumed his current position in 2008. He has a degree in petroleum engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
