Mehran Kamrava
Position: Interim dean, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar
Biography: Mehran Kamrava was appointed interim dean at Georgetown University’s Qatar campus in August 2009, after dean James Reardon-Anderson returned to the main campus in the US.
He joined the Qatar campus as visiting professor in 2007. He is a specialist in the politics of Iran and the Middle East. Before moving to Doha, Kamrava served as professor and chair of political science at California State University in Northridge, California.
