Biography: Mohammad al-Ramadhan begin his career at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research in 1991 and was promoted to director of the engineering division in 1993.

He joined state oil firm KPC as international relations manager in 1997. Since 2003, he has held the position of deputy managing director for health, safety and environment (HSE) and corporate risk management at KPC. Al-Ramadhan was responsible for developing KPC’s corporate HSE management and enterprise risk management systems. He also is the acting deputy managing director for research and technology at KPC.

In January 2006, Al-Ramadhan was appointed president of KPC Energy Ventures. He has bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University in the US. Al-Ramadhan also has a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the US’ University of Michigan.
