Yazid Benmouhoub

Position: CEO, Societe de Gestion de la Bourse et des Valeurs Mobilieres (SGBV)

Biography: Yazid Benmouhoub was appointed CEO of the SGBV, the Algiers stock exchange, in June 2013. The SGBV’s mission is to enable the listing, pricing, trading and settlement of securities under the supervision of regulator COSOB. Since April 2012, Benmouhoub has also worked as director of research at the country’s Prospective Planning and Statistics Ministry.

From 2006 to 2012, he was a senior manager at the treasury administration, specialising in corporate tax. Benmouhoub also has more than 10 years’ experience as an associate university professor, lecturing on corporate and holdings tax, financial products tax, international finance, public finance, and general and public accountancy.

From 1993 to 1997, he was portfolio manager at the Algerian Treasury. Benmouhoub has a degree from the Paris Dauphine University.
