Clemenceau hospital is one of several hospital schemes progressing in the emirate

Lebanon’s Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has been awarded an estimated AED300m ($82m) contract to build the Clemenceau Medical Centre in Dubai Media City.

The healthcare facility will have 110 beds, a laboratory, clinics and a car park.

The consultant is US-based Aecom and the client is the local Khansaheb Investment.

There are several other hospital projects in Dubai that are progressing. At the end of last year, the local ASGC has been awarded an estimated AED460m ($125m) contract to build the Mediclinic Park View Hospital.

The hospital, which will be built in the Al-Barsha area between Al-Khail Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, will have about 150 beds and six operating theatres. The total built-up area is about 38,000 square metres.

Another planned hospital project is the King’s College Hospital that will be built at Emaar Properties’ Dubai Hills development. It will have 88 inpatient beds, outpatient clinics, ambulatory care centres and an emergency room.
